OptimizeMaine is a small business run by its founder. This policy is short because my data practices are simple.
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that identify you. It includes anonymous conversion-event hooks for page views, call or text clicks, consultation form activity, case-study visits, and campaign source. These hooks do not include the information you type into the form. No third-party analytics service is currently connected, so those events are not transmitted off the page.
If you contact me by phone, text, or the message form on my site, I receive only what you choose to send, typically your name, company, contact information, and a description of your problem. The message form does not submit anything to a server. It gathers what you type and opens a pre-filled email in your own mail app, which you then choose to send. Nothing reaches me until you press send.
I use your contact information solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to perform the work. I do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone, and I do not add you to mailing lists.
Business information shared with me during consultations or projects is treated as confidential and used only to perform the work, as described in my project agreements.
